For the treatment of chronic Hepatitis C patients with compromised liver function Oral (Rebetol capsules) or By subcutaneous injection (Intron-A) Headache, fatigue, muscle pain, fever, depression

Rebetron should be used with caution in patients with a history of thyroid disorders, autoimmune disorders, diabetes mellitus, coagulation disorders, pulmonary disorders, and preexisting cardiovascular disease. Patients need to keep all appointments for blood work and follow up with physician regularly. Rebetron should not be used in patients with a history of severe psychiatric disease and should be discontinued in patients who develop severe depression. Rebetron must not be used by women who are pregnant or by men whose female partners are pregnant. Store in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.
