Storage

Used in combination with other anti-viral agents for the treatment of HIV infection. These agents are specific in interfering with resting CD4+ cells. Oral Stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, retinal changes, numbness or tingling in hands and/or feet.
Videx should be used with caution in patients with a history of pancreatitis and liver disease. Retinal exams are recommended periodically. Videx should be taken on an empty stomach and patients should be cautioned about the use of medications, including alcohol, that may exacerbate Videx toxicity.
Didanosine capsules should be stored in a tightly closed container at room temperature.
