Used in the combination with other anti-viral agents for the treatment of HIV infection. These agents are specific for the prevention of HIV repliaction, assembly, and release. Oral Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, fatigue
Crixivan should be used with caution in patients with diabetes mellitus and hepatic dysfunction. Patients should notify physicians if they are taking any other prescription or over-the-counter medications due to severe drug-drug interactions. Crixivan should not be used concomitantly with lovastatin, simvastatin, sildenafil, and St. John’s wort
Store Crixivan at room temperature. Protect from moisture.
