Changing ResolutionsThis page gives information on changing your desktop resolution in order to view the forum at it's optimal resolution. The forum has been designed for optimal viewing at a resolution of 1024x768 pixels.
CookiesThis page gives information on enabling cookies in your web browser. The forum requires cookies for a number of advanced functions. Internet Explorer instructions only.
JavaScriptThis page gives information on enabling JavaScript in your web browser. The forum requires JavaScript for all functions except viewing of messages. Internet Explorer instructions only.
Locale IDsLocale IDs are used to force the web server to display certain things in a language different to the default one. The forum supoorts the use of the LCID settings to change the language of the word parts of forum dates (eg. "October"). This page gives all of the settings; look in config.asp to see where to set the LCID.
HTML Colour ChartThis page gives all of the colours that have direct word associations in Internet Explorer. Note that these colours may not all display the same in other browsers, if you use the word associations. The hexadecimal values will always display the same.
MetaCode HelpThis page tells you how to use the automatic MetaCode system that can be displayed when you go to post. It also describes how the "Assistance" box works.
User LevelsThe forum supports a number of different user levels, with differing properties and restrictions. This page describes the four levels, and what each of them can do.
Synchronicity ErrorsSynchronicity errors are a problem facing the forum superusers (for the most part). We recommend you read this page before embarking on any major changing of your forum via the administration section.
Forum SmiliesThis page shows all of the smilies this forum supports, and their associated symbols.
Restriction SettingsThis page gives information on the restriction settings (applicable to forums) that can be set in the administration section.
User Status SettingsThis page gives information on the statuses which you can assign to a user in the admin section. It also has information on the Dormant status setting, which users can manually assign to their account.
Efficient SearchingThis page gives information on making the most efficient use of the forum's search capabilities. Efficient searching helps you find what you are looking for, faster.
